Living in North Central Phoenix

North Central Phoenix has so much to offer. My family and I moved to this part of Phoenix in December and we are absolutely in love with our neighborhood. The area has a welcoming, community vibe that just feels like home. It did not take us long to find a new drycleaner, check out the local grocery stores, and meet our amazing neighbors. That is one thing that we have been blessed with wherever we have lived, amazing neighbors.
There are some delicious restaurants close to our home. North Central Phoenix has what you are looking for, there are endless restaurant options. Whether you are in the mood for Mexican food, vegetarian, hamburgers or pizza. You will find a delicious option nearby.
There is a coffee and pastry shop called Paris Baguette not too far from our house in the Medlock Place Historic District. They sell amazing European style pastries along with the Lavazza brand of coffee. Lavazza is one of my favorite coffee brands. And it goes so well with a pain au chocolat. Yum! Needless to say, this has become one of my favorite coffee shops.
I could go on all day about food and restaurants. But that is not the only reason we moved here. We are centrally located and my husband's office, our daughter's school, they are a short drive away. We are closer to some of my daughter's friends. Which is really nice.
And did you know that North Central Phoenix is home to one of the biggest farmer's markets in town? Yes, Uptown Farmer's Market. It is a great way to spend Saturday morning browsing through the different vendor tables, checking out what the food trucks are offering, and people watching. And dog watching!
One of the best parts of North Central Phoenix is this amazing path on Central Avenue. Bridle Path. It is on the east side of Central Avenue and runs from Bethany Home Road up to the Arizona Canal. It is about two and a half miles in length. Large, towering olive and ash trees line the majority of the path. Homes with expansive front yards, churches, mid-century modern apartments, luxury modern apartments and new luxury homes line both sides of Central Avenue. It is an ideal place to walk, bike, jog, or walk your dog. It is beautiful and peaceful. Walking there brings me joy.
This has always been one of my favorite neighborhoods in Phoenix. I am so glad to be living here. And you will be, too! Interested in moving to this part of town? Contact us to learn more about how we can help you find your ideal North Central Phoenix home.
